INCAT has acquired a new banking client from Saudi Arabia for the BOS Fintech solution, which is the company’s main product and will be implemented over the next 2 years. INCAT also faced the task of providing IT specialists (with the competencies of Java, Android, iOS, QA automation) for the implementation of new digital bank. The INCAT client did not have adequate resources at the moment. The bank did not have a well-coordinated team with banking experience and engineers with several years of experience in similar projects, which blocked the bank with the implementation of the assumed plan, presentation of progress to investors, and the bank’s advantage over the competition was decreasing. On the side of INCAT, the challenge was to complete the required team to meet Client’s expectations and project deadlines.
Solution
The first step of New Digital Street was to gather the detailed requirements – a tech-stack required by a Saudi Arabian bank. After reviewing the requirements, we started the process of CV screening and selecting appropriate candidates with banking experience and security basics. The consultants we recommended for the projects worked for Polish and foreign banks, including PKO BP or Citibank. The candidates’ CVs were sent to the bank and we appointed technical interview sessions. After a technical interview, the bank chose the best candidates for its needs.
Result
Within one month of the inquiry, we managed to complete a 15-person development team. The team was built from the following skills: mid/senior Android, mid/senior iOS, mid/senior Java developers, and mid/senior QA automation. The bank’s project backlog has not been compromised and finally, the project release will not be delayed.
